DADI Completes Supplying 82 Exciters to Vale
Sydney, Australia - 15 November, 2020- DADI Engineering announced today that it has recently completed shipping 82 Aury® vibrating screen exciters to Vale’s Moatize Mine in Mozambique over a period of 12 months, making Moatize a top customer with over 110 Aury exciters on a single site. Aury® is one of DADI’s brands for vibrating processing equipment including vibrating screens and components, centrifuges, vibratory feeders.
Exciters are the critical components that make modern industrial linear motion vibrating screens work. About 400 sets of Aury® vibrating screens are shipped to our customers each year, and each linear motion vibrating screen might need one, two or even three exciters. An exciter includes a housing, bearings, shafts and eccentric weights and is driven by an electric motor to generate vibrating force. Vibrating force of the Aury® exciter ranges from 20 kN up to 1,000 kN on a single unit.
Features of the Aury exciter include high vibrating force, long working life, low noise and low maintenance. The robust Aury exciters are designed to handle heavy duty and harsh operating conditions of vibrating screens. Nowadays numerous Aury exciters are working in the field powering vibrating screens used in various screening applications in coal and ore processing, chemical, aggregate, etc. Besides offering new exciters, DADI is in the process of expanding its capabilities of rebuilding exciters in the regions it serves.
